We are happy to announce that the Bhoomi Pooja of our Institute: National Institute of Craniofacial Surgery – NICS, “The Face Hospital” was held on Saturday, 22nd July, 2023 at Nakkhu, Ward-4.

On behalf of the organizing committee, we convey deep regards and hearty thanks to our Honourable Prof Dr. Hermann Sailer and Dr. Erica Sailer for your virtual presence at the inauguration ceremony of National Institute of Craniofacial Surgery (NICS) and for delivering such an inspiring speech and for giving motivation to all of us. We really appreciate you taking out time for us from your busy schedule. It’s always been our pleasure to have you with us.
We are also thankful to the honorable Cleft leaders Dr. Manikandhan Ranganathan- Chennai, Dr. Srinivas Gosla Reddy- Hyderabad, Dr. Parit Ladani- Mumbai, Dr. Charlie Cherian- Kerala, Dr. Vikram Shetty- Mangalore and Dr. P.C. 50+ visits over the last 13 years to the best centres on the globe & 12 years 7 months 23 days later…
Cleft Children International Centre (as Hermann Sailer Centre for Cleft & Craniofacial Anomalies) was established at Kathmandu.
A total of 326 patients were evaluated on the inaugural day.
We were able to transform 52 (36 + 15) lives directly (and many indirectly) in 7 days by performing over 7 surgeries per day, encompassing the entire spectrum of Cleft & Craniofacial surgery ranging from Morphofunctional Cheiloplasty, Palatoplasty, Alveolar Bone Grafting, VPI correction by Redo palatoplasty, Cleft Orthognathic procedures & Cleft Rhinoplasty.

Free treatment for problems including cleft lip and palate in Janakpurdham.
Janakpurdham, 20 Shrawan. With the aim of providing free treatment for various problems, including cleft lip and palate, a hospital is being established in Janakpurdham. The establishment of the hospital named “National Institute of Craniofacial Surgery” is planned in Ward No. 8 of Janakpurdham
